The child’s learning pathway is selected and finalized after a thorough review based on the learner’s interests, more in-depth explorations of multiple fields/areas, strengths and weakness analysis, and social & family context.
Once the learner finalizes the learning pathway and the parents & the school’s academic team, the children select a list of subjects, projects, internships, and more.

Preparing for IGCSE and AS/A Success

In Grade 8, we provide a diverse range of self learning courses, allowing learners to explore various subjects and make informed decisions when selecting their IGCSE subjects. Moving into Grades 9-10, we follow the IGCSE (Cambridge International Examinations) curriculum, offering a solid academic foundation for your child’s future success. Our holistic approach includes continuous assessments, personalized feedback, and mock exams to ensure learners are thoroughly prepared. With 13 subjects available in Grade 10—ranging from English, math, and science to business, economics, global perspectives, history, arts, design, computer science, and IT—your child can tailor their education to align with their interests and strengths.

In Grades 11 and 12, we transition to the Cambridge AS and A Level curriculum, where learners choose subjects based on their career aspirations and appear for board exams at the end of each year. We prioritize practical learning, particularly in science subjects, to equip learners with the hands-on experience they need for higher studies and future career opportunities. Our approach fosters self-learning and encourages exploration, giving learners a competitive edge in their academic and professional journeys.

At iLead, we offer a superior Cambridge Level curriculum that emphasizes in-depth study and application-oriented learning, moving away from traditional rote methods. This curriculum also has a flexible approach that allows learners to learn at their own pace and choose specific subjects aligned with their interests, helping them effectively prepare for competitive exams without the overwhelming pressure of balancing board exams and entrance tests. In contrast, many entrance coaching programs focus solely on multiple-choice questions (MCQs), often neglecting comprehensive foundational study during crucial learning years. This can leave learners at a disadvantage in higher education, as they may lack the depth of knowledge needed.

Starting preparation as early as Grade 8, we identify each learner’s strengths through Interest Exploration and Career Planning (IECP) sessions and create personalized learning plans (PLPs). Learners can select additional subjects to keep their options open. For instance, those preparing for NEET can take science subjects while also having the option to pursue Math or Commerce if they are interested in exams in those fields. This flexibility empowers learners to build a strong academic foundation and enhances their chances of success in their chosen paths.

Interest Exploration and Career Planning

Our program doesn’t stop at academics. We emphasize personal and professional development through our unique Interest Exploration and Career Planning (IECP) sessions. Learners collaborate directly with PLP Coordinators to explore their passions and plan for the future. IECP provides opportunities to delve into different career fields, gain hands-on experience through internships, connect with alumni, and build impressive portfolios that highlight their skills and accomplishments—giving them a distinct advantage when applying to universities and pursuing future opportunities.

At iLead, we believe that practical experience is key to meaningful learning. That’s why our learners are deeply involved in real-world projects, like improving our school’s food services. For instance, a dedicated team of iLead learners, guided by a professional chef and consultant, is working on enhancing the quality of food while staying within budget constraints. By conducting observations, analyzing data, and gathering feedback from their peers, they’re developing innovative solutions to elevate the dining experience for our entire school community.

This hands-on approach turns theoretical learning into valuable skills, fostering problem-solving abilities and leadership qualities that prepare learners for future success in both their academic and professional lives.

Mathematics

Fun With Science

In iPlay, the mathematics curriculum is to impart four major skills. We give equal importance to all four skills, unlike standard practices of teaching only the calculation and computing skills. The curriculum is designed with activities and learning materials, and books.

Curriculum content is designed with real-world problems, and content will be integrated into the project-based learning approach in the later years which we follow. In most cases, the solutions will be useful for the school community, local community. For example, a sixth grader will be able to analyze the school bus routes and will collect, analyze the data and compute and present the results to prove his efficient solution. Curriculum content also enables them to take up mathematical courses for higher studies at ease.

Science

Fun in Maths
In iPlay, we teach scientific thinking skills besides introducing science concepts.

In the iPlay Program, all children learn Keyboard in music classes. They learn freestyle dance in the early years and slowly move to semi-classical format. They are exposed to multi-sport program(SportyBeans), and in that we teach children the fundamentals of 9 favorite ball sports (1. Football, 2. Basketball, 3. Volleyball, 4. Golf, 5. Tennis, 6. Cricket, 7. Rugby, 8. Hockey, 9. Baseball).
