The iLead Program is for children who have completed the iDiscover programs. It is designed to help them prepare for their career in 18 different fields. All children are expected to have the below skill sets to enter the iLead Program
- Excellent independent reading & comprehension abilities
- The ability to independently organize and perform tasks
- Self-motivation and passion
- Encourage learning at your own pace
- Exposure to various digital tools(Computers, Applications, Etc)
The child’s learning pathway is selected and finalized after a thorough review based on the learner’s interests, more in-depth explorations of multiple fields/areas, strengths and weakness analysis, and social & family context.
Once the learner finalizes the learning pathway and the parents & the school’s academic team, the children select a list of subjects, projects, internships, and more.
Play and SmartMoves
Smart Moves program consist of the following set of activities:
- Physical exercises to activate both left, right brain,
- Gross motor activities to improve larger muscles and stamina,
- Fine motor activities to improve smaller muscles
- Play (free play, imaginative play, pretend play, constructive play, etc.).
Reading
In many schools, children are taught first to memorize the alphabet and the sounds, and then piece together phonics into words and finally sentences. But, the iPlay program focuses on Comprehension first approach. Reading is encouraged through whole language approaches. The child is led from the whole to the parts and they inwardly connected with the content. This approach enables the children to read with ease by the time they come to Grade 1.
Writing
Generally, schools teach and drill children with copywriting. For example, most of the writing done by the child will be either copied from a book or copied from the teacher’s board. The idea of asking them to write their sentences from Grade 1 onwards is to teach the children that written text is for connecting their thoughts in their mind to express in printed form.
Mathematics
In iPlay, the mathematics curriculum is to impart four major skills. We give equal importance to all four skills, unlike standard practices of teaching only the calculation and computing skills. The curriculum is designed with activities and learning materials, and books.

Curriculum content is designed with real-world problems, and content will be integrated into the project-based learning approach in the later years which we follow. In most cases, the solutions will be useful for the school community, local community. For example, a sixth grader will be able to analyze the school bus routes and will collect, analyze the data and compute and present the results to prove his efficient solution. Curriculum content also enables them to take up mathematical courses for higher studies at ease.

In the iPlay Program, all children learn Keyboard in music classes. They learn freestyle dance in the early years and slowly move to semi-classical format. They are exposed to multi-sport program(SportyBeans), and in that we teach children the fundamentals of 9 favorite ball sports (1. Football, 2. Basketball, 3. Volleyball, 4. Golf, 5. Tennis, 6. Cricket, 7. Rugby, 8. Hockey, 9. Baseball).
